STINE ØLGOD

Within the Artist-in-Residence Program, CCA is delighted to host artist STINE ØLGOD (* 1989 in Denmark). She studied Time based-media at the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg and Object sculpture at the Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien.In her praxis that spans from sculpture to photo-collage and drawing she explores notions of privacy, voyeurism, and hidden power structures. Through the use of materials like metal, glass and effect painting techniques she creates works that both mirror and stare back at the observer and thus asks the question; who is performing for who? Stine currently lives and works in Vienna, Austria and will be staying in Studio ROJO during December 2023.
