MICHAEL KUNZE

Within the Artists-in-Residence Program, CCA is delighted to host the artist Michael Kunze. Born in 1961 in Germany, Kunze studied Art History and Musicology at the University of Munich and at the Academy of Fine Arts in the same city. His work has been referred to as a transposition of classical education into painting. He practices hermetics and devotes himself to possibly fruitless and incomprehensible scholarship. He travels between worlds and through history. Michael currently lives and works in Berlin and will be staying in Studio Rojo during April 2023.
