ISA CARRILLO

Within the Artist-in-Residence Program, CCA is delighted to host artist Isa Carrillo. Born in 1982 in Guadalajara (MX), she graduated in Visual Arts from the University of Guadalajara. Her work has been defined as a research of hidden and enigmatic aspects of the collective unconscious and a connection to a critical and empirical vision of pseudo-sciences applied to individuals. Her interest in hidden or invisible phenomena began to develop at the start of her career by combining themes referring to the subconscious present in everyday life. Isa currently lives and works in Guadalajara, México and will be staying in Studio Verde during November 2023.
