JOSEP MAYNOU

Within the Artists-in-Residence Program, CCA is delighted to host the artist Josep Maynou. Born in 1980 in Barcelona, Maynou studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona, Faculta de Belas Artes Porto in Porto and Middlesex University in London. His multidisciplinary approach comes together as a form of contemporary storytelling that situates itself beyond the traditional art formats, often leading to installations in places such as TV repair shops, private apartments, abandoned spaces, laundromats or second-hand stores. Josep currently lives and works between Paris and Berlin and will be staying in Studio Azul during November 2022.
