CLAUDIA LARCHER


Claudia Larcher’s work includes video animation, collage, drawing, photo-graphy and installation. She critically integrates artificial intelli-gence (AI), utilizing it as an experimental tool for her art. 


Based in Vienna, she has presented her work in numerous exhibi-tions both nationally and internationally, including Annecy Film Festival, Anthology Film Archives in NYC, Ars Electronica Festival Linz, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Lisbon, Centre Pompidou Paris, Francisco Carolinum Linz, Gray Area Festival San Francisco, Kunsthalle Wien, Lo Pati Art Centre, Manifesta 13, Museum of Contemporary Art in Roskilde, Tokyo Wonder Site Japan.


Larcher has received numerous awards, such as the Kunsthalle Wien Prize 2008, the Outstanding Artist Award of the Federal Chancellery 2016, the Prof. Hilde Goldschmidt Award 2019, and the Austrian Art Award 2023.
