Gabriel Vormstein is born i Germany an is a Berlin-based artist, known for his newsprint paintings and drawings of women appropriated from artworks by Austrian artist Egon Schiele. He usually creates his work on sheets of newsprint, of mostly four newspaper double-spreads glued together. He studied at State Academy of Visual Arts, Karlsruhe, Germany
