Artists in residence, November 2017

Sophie Erlund

Within the Artists-in-Residence Program, CCA is delighted to host the artist Sophie Erlund. Born in 1978 in Denmark, Erlund received her BA Fine Art degree with honours in 2003 from Central St. Martins College of Art and Design in London. She researches architecture as a synonym for the human body and mind, creating sculptures, installations and complex soundscapes, which deal with the central theme of transition and understanding the world through the irrational mind. Sophie currently lives and works in Berlin.

Anna Kott

Within the Artists-in-Residence Program, CCA is delighted to host Anna Kott. Born in Ruda Slaska, Poland, in 1975, Anna Kott studied Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts, Krakow, Poland (2001). Currently, she lives and works in Berlin, Germany, and she will be staying in the Studio Rojo during November 2017.

Bodo Korsig

Within the Artists-in-Residence Program, CCA is delighted to host Bodo Korsig. Born in Zwickau, Germany, in 1962, Bodo Korsig studied Sculptor and Stone restoration at the FWG, Berlin, Germany (1986-1990). Currently, he lives and works in Trier, Germany, and New York, USA, and he will be staying in the Studio Azul during November 2017.

Martine Poppe

Within the Artists-in-Residence Program, CCA is delighted to host Martine Poppe. Born in Oslo, Norway, in 1988, Martine Poppe studied at the Slade School of Fine Art, London, United Kingdom (2007-2013). Currently, she lives and works in London, United Kingdom, and she will be staying in the Studio Amarillo during November 2017.
