The title of this exhibition, Nothing to Declare, centers on the metaphor of an internal customs checkpoint—that high-stakes threshold where we decide what is worth revealing and what must remain hidden. In this body of work, the “contraband” isn't illegal goods, but rather the inventory of a mind: the impulses, attachments, and sensory memories gathered during the artist’s residency in Andratx, Mallorca. While these ceramic bags are physically present, they carry a weight that has no "market value" to an outsider, representing the personal experiences that are often too specific or fragmentary to be fully translated or shared.
