Located on the southside of the Tramuntana Mountains, only 30 minuts away from Palma, the CCA Andratx is dedicated to the creation and exhibition of Contemporary Art. It offers a unique cultural experience, and the Studio Program is open to national and international artists.
The CCA Andratx was founded in 2001 by Jacob and Patricia Asbaek. The 4.000 m2 building has a minimal but traditional style that is perfectly integrated in the breathtaking natural scenery of its surroundings. CCA is one of the largest centres of Contemporary Art in the Balearic Islands as well as in the rest of Europe.
Visitors, collectors and artists are invited to spend a day exploring art and nature whilst enjoying the many facilities of the CCA Andratx.
KATARINA
LÖFSTRÖM
Within the Artist-in-Residence Program, CCA is delighted to host Katarina Löfström.
Löfström was born in Sweden, in 1970 and she lives and works in Stockholm.
Löfström has received an MFA from the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm and works primarily with video, digital animations etc.
Within the Artist-in-Residence Program, CCA is delighted to host Peter Hanghøj Sørensen.
Sørensen was born in 1958, currently, he lives and works in Copenhagen (Denmark).
From the mid-nineties and up to now, the artist have focused on the visual arts.
PETER HANGHØJ SØRENSEN
CCA is delighted to host Caro Suerkemper is a painter and sculptor. She studied at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste Karlsruhe, Germany (1984 – 1990) and her work was featured in several exhibitions at key galleries and museums, including the MdbK Leipzig and the Museum Folkwang Essen.

CCA is delighted to host Tibor Dieters.
Dieters was born in Netherlands, 1996.
Dieters is a multidisciplinary artist with a focus on analogue photographic processes, sculpture, writing, and film. He graduated from BA Royal Academy of Art (KABK), NL, Photography — nominated for department award and thesis award.
